Since the death of Martin Goode in 2002, we have been searching for a suitable replacement watercolour artist and we are now delighted to introduce our new resident artist Tony Cassidy.
Tony Cassidy was born in Co. Monaghan, Ireland in 1952. He has painted part-time for many years while working in civil engineering and telecommunications as a draughtsman. Having recently retired he now concentrates on watercolour landscapes and street scenes at home and abroad. He published Waterford City Scenes a booklet of drawings of local interest. His paintings have been exhibited locally and nationally. Tony lives in Waterford, in the south east of Ireland, with his wife Kate and daughters, Megan, Katelyn and Hannah. Tony, paints in the same free flowing style as Martin, whose work he greatly admiress. We will be adding new images of Britain and Ireland by Tony throughout the year
