Shirley Harrell was born in Yorkshire, moved to Sussex and studied at the Hastings School of Art. She now lives in the West Country and is a full-time artist. Shirley's rich still-life paintings have a strong Victorian influence. Shirley exhibits widely and has held many solo exhibitions in London and other major cities throughout the UK. She is the twin sister of famous artist Alwyn Crawshaw and shares the great gift of art which is clearly abundant in their family.
